March Simply Prayer: Lent as a Season of Hope & Grace-Filled Change
March Simply Prayer: Lent as a Season of Hope & Grace-Filled Change
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Tuesday, March 4, 2025
As we enter the season of Lent, we may ponder a question — How will this Lenten season be different for me? Hopefully your prayer, fasting and almsgiving will also include a search for new attitudes and deeper perspectives.
Join us as we consider the touchstone moments of grace and change in the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. See him overcome himself to embrace the leper. Experience him kneeling in prayer before the Crucifix of San Damiano in the hope of discerning God’s will. Watch him lovingly tend to his brothers and pray intensely with Clare. Meditate on his oneness with Christ when receiving the Stigmata, and later, drawing all of Creation into a great prayer of praise. Like Francis, may you, too, experience Lent as a season of hope and grace-filled change!
Join Sister Barbara Brown for our March session of Simply Prayer at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, in the first-floor conference room (Blue Room) of St. Francis Center at Monocacy Manor in Bethlehem, Pa. Participants are welcome to join us for coffee at 9:30 a.m.
