Sowing Seeds of Hope Lenten Series: The Canticle of the Creatures

  • St. Francis Center at Monocacy Manor 395 Bridle Path Road Bethlehem, PA, 18017 United States (map)

Francis of Assisi was a man of the Gospel who inspired thousands of people throughout his lifetime and beyond. Why? He was a humble man and a bearer of hope who spread the love of the Lord wherever he went.

In this Jubilee Year of Hope, we will consider three experiences in the life of Saint Francis that fostered hope among the people in his day. As in the time of Francis, we are called to cultivate hope through understanding, tolerance, peace and gratitude. Surely, these virtues and values would be spiritually challenging for the Lenten season!

Come and join us for these evenings of story, reflection and sharing in the spirit of Francis of Assisi. Then let us begin to plant the seeds of hope — wherever we are.
